Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. soda
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. buttermilk
2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. raw rhubarb, cut in 1/2 to 3/4-inch chunks
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
-
Mix first 6 ingredients together and put into a greased 9 x 14-inch cake pan.
Mix last 3 ingredients and sprinkle over top of batter.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
