Whole Wheat Soft Pretzels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. active yeast
    1 1/2 c. warm water (105~ to 115~)
    2 1/2 c. flour (all-purpose)
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 to 1 1/2 c. flour (whole wheat)
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. cold water
    1 to 2 Tbsp. coarse salt
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water in large bowl.
    (If water is too hot, yeast will be killed and will not work.)
    Add all-purpose flour, sugar and salt; beat on low speed until moistened.
    Beat on medium speed, scraping bowl occasionally, 3 minutes.
    Stir in enough whole wheat flour to make dough easy to handle.
    Turn dough onto lightly floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes.
    Place in a greased bowl; turn greased side up.
