Cabbage Au Gratin Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cabbage, shredded
    1/2 c. onions, diced
    3 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. caraway seed
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. paprika
    3 c. milk
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Saute cabbage and onions in butter until tender.
    Stir in flour, caraway, salt, pepper and paprika.
    Remove from heat; gradually stir in milk.
    Bring to boil over medium heat and add cheese.
    Stir until melted.
    Return to heat if necessary to melt cheese but do not boil.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
