Chicken A La King - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (6 oz.) can tuna (optional; may be substituted for chicken)
1 Tbsp. melted butter
1 1/4 Tbsp. flour
1 c. half and half
4 chicken breasts, cooked and cubed
8 oz. small mushrooms
1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
2 oz. pimiento, diced
1 tsp. minced onion
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. white pepper
3 Tbsp. white wine (dry)
Preparation

Blend butter and flour in saucepan.
Gradually stir in half and half; cook until thickened.
Add remaining ingredients.
Cook over low heat until mixture is thoroughly heated, being careful not to burn bottom of saucepan.
Serve over toast or pastry shells.
Serves 4.
