Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    flour to mix and enough to roll
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Sift flour and soda.
    Add alternately with milk.
    Add vanilla.
    Roll and cut with cutter or glass.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown.
