Crusty Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
6 eggs
2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. plain flour (sifted three times)
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream Crisco and sugar.
Add eggs alternately with flour.
Add salt and vanilla.
Preheat oven to 250\u00b0.
Put batter in large tube pan that has been greased and floured.
Put cake in oven and turn temperature to bake at 325\u00b0.
Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes without opening oven door.
When done, remove from oven and let stand in pan 10 minutes.
Remove from pan.
