Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. warm water
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1 tsp. salt
    1 beaten egg
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. melted shortening
    6 c. flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Add other ingredients as listed; stir until well mixed.
    Let stand at room temperature, covered with cloth, until double in bulk.
    Punch down and wait 5 minutes.
