Oatmeal-Carrot Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/3 c. margarine, melted
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. carrots, shredded
    1 c. whole wheat flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. oatmeal
    1/4 c. wheat germ
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    In a small bowl, cream together sugar, margarine, egg and vanilla until light and fluffy.
    Add carrots and mix well.
    In another bowl, thoroughly stir together flour, baking powder, oatmeal and wheat germ.
    Stir the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture.
    Fold in the raisins.
    Pour mixture into a vegetable oil sprayed 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Let cool.
    Cut into bars or squares.
