Chicken, Black Bean And Barley Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dried black beans, cleaned
    4 chicken legs (thighs and drumsticks)
    1 onion, quartered
    2 celery ribs, chopped
    1/2 c. barley
    freshly ground black pepper
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
    salt
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, cover beans with water.
    Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes. Remove from heat, cover and let stand for 1 hour. Drain.
