Peanut Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. plain flour
    3/4 c. peanut butter
    1/2 c. Crisco shortening
    1 1/4 c. packed light brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. milk
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    3/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Combine peanut butter, brown sugar, Crisco, milk and vanilla in a large bowl; beat at medium speed until well blended.
    Add egg.
    Beat just until blended.
    Combine flour, soda and salt.
    Add to mixture at low speed.
    Drop by heaping teaspoonful 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet.
    Flatten slightly with a fork.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 7 to 8 minutes or until beginning to brown.
    Cool 2 minutes.
    Makes about 3 dozen.
