Banana Split Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 bananas
    1/2 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 c. chocolate chips
    2 c. confectioners sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
    1 c. chopped peanuts
    1 (13 1/2 oz.) Cool Whip
    1 pkg. graham cracker crumbs
Preparation
    Cover bottom of 11 x
    15-inch
    pan with crumbs.
    Slice ice cream over crumbs and top with
    chopped
    peanuts.
    Freeze
    until firm.
    Melt chocolate chips and butter.
    Add
    confectioners
    sugar and
    evaporated milk.
    Cook over medium heat until thick and smooth, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat and add
    vanilla. Cool mixture and pour over ice cream.
    Freeze until firm.
    Before serving, slice bananas and top with Cool Whip.
    May be stored in the freezer for several weeks.
