1 c. (2 sticks) butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg yolk
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 1/2 c. flour (all-purpose)
1 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Beat butter in large bowl until fluffy. Slowly add sugar; beat until light and fluffy.
Beat in egg yolk and extracts.
Combine dry mixture into creamed mixture.
Form dough into ball.
Wrap in plastic.
Chill several hours or overnight.
