Ingredients

1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 c. butter or margarine
3/4 c. chopped pecans
2 Tbsp. water
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan.
Over low heat cook, stirring occasionally, until sugar is dissolved and butter is melted.
Use to top yeast breads, rolls, coffee cakes or pound cakes.
Perfect for candied sweet potatoes or ice cream.
