Whipped Cheese Pie - cooking recipe

deep-dish unbaked pie shell
1 1/2 c. low-fat cottage cheese
3 eggs, separated
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. vanilla
3 Tbsp. flour
3/4 c. light cream
nutmeg
Preparation

Beat egg whites until foamy.
Add 1/4 cup sugar slowly and keep beating until stiff.
In separate bowl, beat cheese until smooth; add yolks.
Beat well.
Mix flour, salt and remaining sugar; add to mixture with vanilla.
Pour into unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle top generously with nutmeg.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes, then at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Cool and chill.
Keep refrigerated.
