French Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. beef stew meat
    2 large diced carrots
    2 large diced potatoes
    1/2 pkg. creaming onions
    1 can tomatoes
    1 can tiny peas
    1/2 can consomme soup
    1/2 can white wine
    2 Tbsp. Minute tapioca
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 bay leaf
    3/4 Tbsp. salt and pepper
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, uncooked.
    Cover and bake at 250\u00b0 for 5 to 6 hours.
