Beef-Mushroom Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. cubed beef (1-inch pieces of round)
    1 can mushroom soup, undiluted
    1 small pkg. onion soup mix
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 to 1 c. red wine
    3/4 lb. mushrooms
Preparation
    Place first 4 ingredients in baking dish.
    Stir.
    Bake at 225\u00b0 for 3 1/2 hours, stirring after 2 1/2 hours.
    Add red wine and mushrooms.
    Stir and bake another 1/2 to 1 hour.
    Serve over rice. Serves 6.
