Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. white sugar
1 lb. margarine
3 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
5 c. flour
1 pkg. chocolate bits
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and vanilla.
Beat well. Sift salt and soda in with flour.
Add to mixture.
Add chocolate bits last.
Place in refrigerator overnight or until well chilled. Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven.
Makes about 6 dozen 2-inch cookies.
