Charles Dickens' Fish And Chips - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. flounder
1 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. beer
2 tsp. oil
1 tsp. egg coloring (optional)
1 tsp. baking powder
1 pinch of pepper
Preparation

Dredge 1 1/2 pound flounder in small amount of flour.
Mix remaining ingredients in a bowl until smooth.
Heat oil or shortening for deep frying (350\u00b0).
Dip fish into batter and lower into hot oil.
Cook 3 to 4 minutes or until crisp and golden brown.
