Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. sifted flour
3/4 c. yellow cornmeal
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 beaten egg
2/3 c. milk
2 Tbsp. oil
Preparation

In a bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder, sugar and salt.
In another bowl, combine the egg, milk and oil.
Add to flour mixture.
Pour batter into a greased baking pan.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Use a toothpick to test for doneness. Remove pan to a rack.
Let stand for 10 minutes.
Invert onto a breadboard or platter.
Cut into 3-inch squares.
Serves 6.
