Ingredients

2 c. cooked beets
1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter
1/4 c. water (I use juice from canned beets, as long as equals 1/4 c.)
Preparation

Mix sugar, flour, water, vinegar.
Cook until thick; add salt, butter and beets.
