Lo-Cal Pineapple Cheese Salad Ring - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    No. 2 1/2 can crushed pineapple
    1 pkg. sugar-free lemon gelatin
    1 pkg. sugar-free lime gelatin
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. cottage cheese (lo-fat)
    1 c. slivered almonds
Preparation
    Drain syrup from pineapple.
    Measure and add enough water to make 2 1/2 cups.
    Heat to boiling; remove from heat.
    Add lemon and lime gelatins and salt.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Chill until consistency of unbeaten egg whites, then fold in drained pineapple, cheese and almonds.
    Pour into 2-quart ring mold.
    Chill until firm.
    Turn out onto large plate and tuck lettuce frills under edges.
    Serve on lettuce.
    Serves 12.
