German Hot Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage
    3 1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. butter
    dash of pepper
    3/4 Tbsp. salt
    3 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Shred cabbage and place in cooking pot. Add water, pepper, salt, sugar and butter. Cover and cook on medium heat until soft, about 30 minutes.
    If water cooks up too fast, add a little more.
