Oven Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. stew meat
    1 can tomatoes
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 onion, chopped
    1 bay leaf
    several carrots and potatoes, cut up
    3 Tbsp. tapioca
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 slice bread, torn in small pieces
Preparation
    Put all in large casserole and cover. Bake 5 hours at 250\u00b0 or longer.
