Pecan Bar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
    2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    2 c. self-rising flour
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine butter and sugar in a medium mixing bowl; beat in eggs and vanilla.
    Gradually add flour, mixing well.
    Stir in pecans. Pour into greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Cool; cut into bars.
    Yields 2 1/2 dozen bars.
