Vanilla Wafer Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter or margarine
    6 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    12 oz. vanilla wafers
    1/2 c. milk
    1 pkg. (7 oz.) flaked coconut
    1 c. finely chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Beat in eggs one at a time and continue beating until smooth and fluffy. Crush vanilla wafers fine.
    Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
    Fold in coconut and pecans.
    Turn into greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
