Grandma'S Best Baked Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. beans
1 1/2 c. meat broth
1 tsp. salt
3/4 lb. salt pork
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 medium onion, diced
1/2 tsp. celery salt
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 tart apple, diced
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 c. tomato pulp
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. dark molasses
Preparation

Sort, wash and soak beans overnight in water to cover.
Next morning, simmer for 40 minutes (until tender) and drain.
In bean pot, layer apple wedges, diced onion and beans.
Combine remainder of ingredients and pour over beans.
Scrape off salt from salt pork.
Cut into 1/2-inch squares to rind.
Press into beans, leaving rind exposed.
Cover bean pot and bake at 250\u00b0 for 6 to 8 hours.
Add water during baking, if needed.
Makes 8 servings.
