Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2/3 c. shortening
1 1/4 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
1 3/4 c. applesauce
1/2 c. water
3/4 c. raisins
3 c. sifted flour
1/3 tsp. baking powder
1 3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
3/4 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 3/4 tsp. salt

Preparation

Cream together first 3 ingredients.
Add eggs and applesauce. Sift together dry ingredients; add to the mixture alternately with water.
