Crusty (Soft Center) Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. corn meal
    1/4 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 beaten egg
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. oleo (for dish)
Preparation
    Combine, then sift, the corn meal, flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.
    Add 1 beaten egg and 1 cup of milk; blend well. Melt oleo in baking dish.
    Pour in batter.
    Pour 1/2 cup of milk over top of mixture, but do not stir.
    Bake 40 minutes at 375\u00b0.
