Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
    1 1/3 c. water
    3/4 c. soft butter
    3 eggs
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 pkg. mini chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
Preparation
    Melt caramels with evaporated milk. Mix cake mix with water, butter and eggs. Pour 1/2 batter in a 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes. Pour melted caramels over that. Sprinkle nuts and chips over caramels. Pour remaining batter over this and bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes. Delicious.
