Harvard Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. can sliced beets
    1 medium onion, sliced thin
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. vinegar
    3 Tbsp. beet liquid
    2 tsp. flour
    salt
Preparation
    In saucepan, cook onion in butter until tender.
    Add sugar and flour to saucepan.
    Stir in vinegar and beet liquid until there are no lumps.
    Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
    Add beets; salt to taste.
    Heat.
