Hedge Hogs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter, melted
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. nuts, chopped
    1 c. dates, chopped
    2 c. Rice Krispies
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt butter and add sugar, egg, nuts and dates.
    Cook 6 minutes, stirring slowly with a wooden spoon.
    Add Rice Krispies and vanilla.
    Let cool.
    Shape into fingers and roll with coconut.
