Fruit Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. chopped cherries (cherries packed in water)
1 small can crushed pineapple
3 large bananas, sliced
3/4 c. nuts
1 c. sugar or 24 pkg. Equal
3 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. red food coloring
whipping cream
2 pie shells, baked
Preparation

Drain juice from pineapple and cherries.
Add to this juice enough water to equal 1 cup.
Add sugar and cornstarch, vanilla and food coloring.
Cook until thickened.
Stir in fruit and nuts. Pour into 2 cooked pie shells.
Cover with whipped cream and chill.
By using Equal, cherries packed in water and pineapple packed in its own juice, this dessert is good for diabetics.
