Old South Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. dark Karo syrup
1 c. pecans
3 to 4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Beat eggs slightly.
Add sugar, syrup, salt, nuts and vanilla. Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake in slow oven at 325\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
Pecans will float to the top and brown if baked slowly.
