Ingredients

1 (3 to 3 1/2 lb.) frying chicken, cut into pieces
salt and pepper
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 large onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
2 large oranges
1/2 tsp. each: ground coriander, ground cumin and salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch, mixed with 1 c. unflavored yogurt
Preparation

Sprinkle chicken lightly with salt and pepper.
Melt butter in a wide frying pan over medium-high heat.
Add chicken and cook, turning, until browned on all sides.
Remove chicken and set aside.
