**Springerli - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    2 1/4 c. sugar
    4 c. flour
    1 lump butter (size of walnut)
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Add eggs, beat 15 minutes.
    Add flour and baking powder sifted 3 times.
    Roll out 1/2-inch thick.
    Then roll with printed roller or press with printed board.
    Cut, place on greased cookie sheet sprinkled with anise seed.
    Let stand 2 hours in warm place, bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
    Makes about 9 dozen.
