Kranse-Kake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. (three 8 oz. cans) almond paste
4 egg whites, slightly beaten
2 c. powdered sugar
Preparation

Warm paste in double boiler; place in bowl with egg white and beat with mixer.
Gradually add sugar and beat until smooth.
Let stand in cool place overnight.
Roll on floured board into long little finger lengths and fit into molds.
Grease molds well. Bake about 30 minutes in 325\u00b0.
When baked, let stand 15 minutes, then unmold.
For decorating, use powdered sugar, water and almond flavoring.
Makes 18 rings.
