Chocolate Potato Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
3 eggs
1 3/4 c. flour
1 c. boiled potatoes, run through a sieve
1/2 c. cocoa
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. each: nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice and salt
1 c. nuts

Preparation

Cream sugar, butter and shortening.
Beat in eggs.
Add potatoes.
Beat good.
Add dry ingredients and nuts.
Pour in a greased tube cake pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
