Microwave Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Place butter in a large glass mixing bowl.
    Microwave on High for 45 seconds to 1 minute or until melted.
    Add sugar, eggs and vanilla.
    Beat until creamy.
    Stir in dry ingredients just until blended.
    Fold in nuts.
    Spread evenly into an 8 x 8 x 2-inch square baking dish.
    Microwave on Medium-high (70%) for 8 to 10 minutes or until top appears dry and springs back when lightly touched.
    Turn dish 1/2 turn halfway through cooking.
    Allow to stand on a solid surface until completely cool.
    Cut into bars. Yields 16 brownies.
