Chocolate Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. Crisco shortening, melted (or butter or margarine)
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. milk
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Combine melted Crisco, cocoa and salt, then add milk and vanilla.
    Mix in sugar in 3 parts.\tMix until smooth and creamy. Add more sugar to thicken or milk to thin if needed for good spreading consistency.
    Frosts two 8 or 9-inch layers or a 13 x 9-inch cake.
