Hot Fudge Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter, softened
    2 1/4 c. powdered sugar
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    6 sq. semi-sweet chocolate
Preparation
    Combine butter and sugar in top of double boiler.
    Stir in evaporated milk; add chocolate.
    Cook over hot water for 30 minutes.
    Do not stir.
    Remove from heat; beat until creamy. Store in refrigerator and reheat as needed.
    Add cream for a thinner sauce.
    Yields 1 1/2 pints.
