Souper Meat 'N Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    2 c. mashed potatoes
    1/4 c. shredded mild cheese
Preparation
    Mix thoroughly 1/2 cup soup, beef, onion, egg, bread crumbs, parsley and seasonings.
    Press firmly into a 9-inch pie plate. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes (or microwave at Full power for 12 minutes, turning pie plate a half turn after 6 minutes of cooking time).
    Spoon off fat.
    Frost with mashed potatoes; top with remaining soup and cheese.
    Bake 10 minutes more (or microwave 3 minutes more to melt cheese).
    Serves 6 to 8.
