Almond Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. vegetable shortening
3 1/2 c. plain flour, sifted
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
5 eggs
3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond
Preparation

Cream butter, shortening and sugar until very light and fluffy.
Add
flavorings.
Add
eggs,
one\tat a time, beating well
after
each
addition.
Mix baking powder with flour and add alternately
with\tmilk, beginning and ending with flour. Bake in a tube pan 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0 or until done.
