Green Tomato Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. green tomatoes
3 c. thin sliced apples
2/3 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1/3 c. white sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. salt
3 tsp. butter
Preparation

Put tomatoes in boiling water 2 to 3 minutes; peel off skins. Thinly slice tomatoes enough for 2 cups.
Mix all together, place in pie shell and dot with butter.
Place top crust, make steam holes in top crust and flute the edges.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
