German Cold Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. small red potatoes
    1 small onion
    1/2 c. oil
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. chicken broth
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. sugar or less
Preparation
    Peel and slice potatoes thin.
    Cook onion in oil (very light). Add chicken broth, vinegar, salt, pepper and sugar.
    Bring to boil.
    Put over sliced potatoes (hot).
    Mix occasionally; let stand overnight.
