Hawaiian Banana Bread(Heritage: Pacific Coast) - cooking recipe

1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. mashed ripe bananas
2 beaten eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chopped Macadamia nuts
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 300\u00b0. Cream the butter and sugar. Mix in the bananas, then add the eggs.
Sift the flour with the salt and baking powder.
Mix into banana mix, just enough to combine.
Do not overmix.
Fold in the nuts and pour into a buttered loaf pan. Bake for 1 to 1 1/4 hours or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
