Cranberry Nut Bread - cooking recipe

2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 Tbsp. grated orange rind
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter/margarine
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. orange juice
1 egg
1 c. chopped cranberries
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and line a loaf pan, approximately 9 x 5 x 3-inches.
Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Cut in butter and add sugar.
Mix the orange rind and orange juice with the beaten egg.
Stir into the dry ingredients and mix well.
Fold in the nuts and cranberries.
Turn into the pan and bake for about 1 hour or until golden brown and firm to the touch.
Turn out and allow to cool before storing.
