Oatmeal Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. boiling water
    1 c. quick oats
    1/2 c. whole wheat flour
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    5 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. warm water
Preparation
    Combine boiling
    water,
    oats,
    whole
    wheat flour, brown sugar, salt and butter.
    Cool
    until lukewarm.
    Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.
    Add to
    batter.
    Add
    enough
    flour
    to
    make a smooth, elastic dough.
    Let rise until
    double in bulk.
    Shape into 2 loaves and put in greased pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    When bread is done, grease top with butter and
    cover with cloth until cool.
    If desired, you may use more brown flour and less white.
