Vegetable Noodle Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 oz. egg noodles, uncooked
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 c. coarsely chopped fresh broccoli
    1/4 tsp. each salt and pepper
    3 tbsp. fine, dry bread crumbs
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
    1 stalk celery, sliced
    1 small green pepper, chopped
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Preparation
    Cook noodles according to package directions; drain and set aside.
    Saute celery, onion, green pepper and broccoli in oil until tender.
    Stir in milk, salt, pepper and cheese.
    Spoon into a lightly greased 1 1/2 quart baking dish.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Sprinkle with bread crumbs and drizzle with butter; bake uncovered for 10 minutes.
    Yields 4 to 6 servings.
