Corn Light Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising cornmeal
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 egg, beaten
    3 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients.
    Make a hole in the center and add buttermilk, egg and melted shortening.
    Beat well.
    Pour into greased loaf pan.
    Bake 50 minutes at 370\u00b0.
    Cool a few minutes in pan and then turn out before it sweats in pan.
