Oriental Steak Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. cubed beef round steak
    1 small onion (1/3 c.)
    2 stalks celery
    1 tsp. dried, crushed basil
    2 Tbsp. instant beef bouillon granules
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen Chinese style vegetables
    1 c. sliced mushrooms
Preparation
    In Dutch oven, combine beef, onion, celery, basil, bouillon, soy sauce and 8 cups water.
    Bring to boiling.
    Reduce heat. Simmer uncovered for 1 1/2 hours; add frozen vegetables and mushrooms.
    Return mixture to boiling.
    Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
    Serves 6.
